This program not only lays the foundational knowledge for traditional social service careers that will enable you to improve the lives of individuals, families and communities, the conflict resolution training will broaden your options to other fields, ranging from labor relations and business to human resources and legal services. The conflict resolution program includes role-playing, real-world experience and one-to-one training from practitioners in the field of mediation. This combined degree, at its core, is about helping people through effective communication and problem solving.

What makes this unique program even more appealing to focused learners and working adults is its convenience and expediency. Certain MMCR courses count toward the Bachelor of Professional Studies (BPS) in Human Services and MMCR degrees, reducing overall completion time by up to 9 credits—saving you time and money. BPS courses can be completed in the evenings on the campus of Triton College in River Grove or online. MMCR courses are completed at Dominican’s River Forest campus, online, or at the University Center of Lake County in Grayslake.
