Bachelor of Professional Studies in Legal Studies/Master of Arts in Mediation and Conflict Resolution

If you are interested in acquiring skills that are in high demand right now, the Master of Arts in Mediation and Conflict Resolution (MMCR) fits the bill. The Bureau of Labor Statistics projected a 22% increase in demand for mediators nationwide from 2008­–2018. U.S. News & World Report consistently ranks professional mediation as one of the "50 Best Careers," and Forbes deemed mediation one of "America's Most Surprising Six-Figure Jobs."

Among the many benefits of this program are its efficiency and convenience. Certain Master of Arts in Mediation and Conflict Resolution courses also count toward the Bachelor of Professional Studies (BPS) in Legal Studies, reducing overall completion time for both degrees by up to nine credits, saving you time and money. The low-residency format allows students to earn their degree online or in the evening while working full time. BPS courses can be completed in the evenings on the campus of Triton College in River Grove or online. MMCR courses are completed at Dominican’s River Forest campus, online or at the University Center of Lake County in Grayslake.
