The Fight for Black Lives is a documentary by Micere Keels that explores whether the persistently higher rate of Black maternal and infant mortality that has been documented for over 100 years is inevitable because it is “located in the inferior body of the negro” or preventable because it is located in “inferior social conditions.” A conversation with Micere Keels will follow the film.
