Born in Managua, Nicaragua, and now based in Nashville, Tennessee, Prisca holds a Master's of Divinity from Vanderbilt University. She is a fierce advocate for first-generation students, immigrants, and Latinx communities. 

Through her storytelling, she sheds light on systemic oppression, sexism, and the complexities of intergenerational trauma. Prisca’s work, including her contributions to anthologies like "Nevertheless, We Persisted" and "The Fearless Rise and Powerful Resonance of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez," has gained national acclaim. As the founder of Latina Rebels, her voice has reached over 300k followers and been featured on platforms like Telemundo, Univision, and Huffington Post. Prisca’s latest book, Tías and Primas, is a powerful exploration of healing and resilience.
