Faculty and Staff Recognized for Achievement

A celebratory reception on May 6 recognized Dominican University faculty and staff who marked notable work anniversaries this year, earned promotions, received tenure or emerita status, and were recipients of special awards.
The event included a special tribute to psychology professor Dr. Dan Beach, who is retiring after a remarkable 50 years at Dominican. Donning sunglasses and using Billy Joel’s We Didn’t Start the Fire for inspiration, Dr. Bob Calin-Jageman rapidly summed up Beach’s five decades with the university, which drew a standing ovation.
