Lambda Pi Eta
Join the Honor Society LPE
The official communication studies honor society of the National Communication Association, Lambda Pi Eta (LPE) has more than 400 active chapters at four-year colleges and universities worldwide. Dominican’s chapter is known as Sigma Zeta.
LPE represents what Aristotle described in his book Rhetoric as the three ingredients of persuasion: Logos (Lambda) meaning logic, Pathos (Pi) relating to emotion and Ethos (Eta) defined as character credibility and ethics.
The Dominican chapter of LPE inducts new members every spring in a ceremony open to friends and family.
Communication studies celebrating the induction of one of their own. CAS majors and minors are a tight-knit community who support and encourage one another to do their best in coursework and beyond.
