Students who enroll in the MBA-RD program will complete MBA degree requirements and will complete the courses outlined in the University Bulletin.

MBA/RD students will complete 30-credit hours in the Brennan School of Business (BSB) and 23-credit hours in the Borra College of Health Sciences. Business courses are offered on weekday evenings and online so that nutrition sciences courses and supervised practice hours can be completed during the daytime. Students must successfully complete all MBA degree requirements and all supervised practice program requirements prior to receiving the ACEND Verification Statement of completed requirements.

Students who have taken undergraduate business courses or who elect to take BSB’s online graduate business courses the summer prior to starting may be eligible to have up to six of the MBA Foundation courses waived, depending on their undergraduate coursework and academic performance in selected business courses. In addition to course waivers, students who have successfully completed relevant coursework at another accredited graduate program may request to have two courses (maximum of six credits) transferred and applied toward MBA degree requirements.

Our Graduate Coordinated Program in Dietetics is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
