Open Enrollment: Monday, November 9 through Friday, November 20, 2026.

Our medical coverage will remain with our current carrier, Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Illinois. Our dental, Group Term Life, LTD and voluntary life coverage will remain with our current carrier, MetLife. Vision coverage will remain with EyeMed. The premium pricing for dental, vision, life, LTD and voluntary life will not increase.

Key Points of Note for 2027

• We are maintaining our health insurance coverage through BC/BS of IL with three plan choice offerings: HDHP, Blue Advantage HMO and PPO Blue Choice.
• Vision care is still included as part of our BC/BS of IL healthcare coverage for the HDHP and Blue Advantage HMO plans. Vision is not included with the PPO Blue Choice plan so we offer an optional vision plan through EyeMed. This vision plan is totally separate from our medical plan and has a separate monthly charge. Vision details will be available in the 2027 Benefits Guide.  The informational vision video will be updated as soon as possible for plan year 2027.
• Benefit enrollment will be managed online through Paycor. All medical, dental, vision and voluntary life decisions will carry over from 2026 except if you were in the broad PPO plan. This plan is being eliminated so you will be required to make a new plan choice for 2027. If you are already in the HDHP, Blue Advantage HMO or PPO Blue Choice medical plans, dental or vision, no action is required. However, we strongly encourage you to carefully review and confirm all of your plan choices.
• If you are enrolled in a flexible spending account, you must re-enroll for 2027 if you wish to continue. Our vendor is Inspira Financial and enrollment will once again be part of the online process through Paycor. In order to keep our program as cost-effective as possible, Dominican's plan is based on a reimbursement structure; we do not offer the debit card as an option. Please note FSA limits for 2027:
  • Healthcare FSA: $3,500 (projected)
  • Dependent Care FSA: $7,500
• Reminder: Open Enrollment will not start until November 9, 2026 and all updated elections must be submitted by Friday, November 20, 2026.
